I have been a product hoarder for as long as I can remember, and I am not afraid to admit it! If I see a commercial or ad for something new chances are at some point I will buy it to try it. Im always looking for that holy grail skin care, hair care etc items because lets face it there are so many types of hair/skin and products out there to try! So, until I find it I try it. I almost always look at reviews especially for skin care and hair care product prior to purchasing.
These are some empties I have used up and gathered to share with you my opinion on each.
1. Suave Dry Shampoo- If your like me, you have to wash your hair every day or every other day (no matter if its good or bad for your hair) so this doesnt get a ton of use. My hair looks like a grease ball if its not washed and I like the clean hair feel. This is my go to dry shampoo if I just dont feel like washing my hair after a day or 2 and it works like a charm. Not to mention its el cheapo.
2. Gillette Satin Care OlAY Shaving Cream- Lets face it shaving my legs is NOT on my priority list every day BUT when I do I love a good shaving cream. I purchased this one at Target it was on sale and I needed to replenish so for the cheap price I didnt really have anything to lose. This one worked fine, the smell, meh, wasnt a fan. Nothing better than a tropical fruity scent, this just was not that.
3. Vidal Sassoon Hair Spray Extra Hold- I dont normally buy extra hold so this is most likely for a trip. Was not a fan, it was way to sticky for me. I will just stick (ha!) with the flexible hold hairspray for now!
4. ELF High Definition Undereye Setting Powder- I normally dont buy this kind of thing but I saw it and decided to try it. If your like me you could use a little lightening in the under eye region. This worked for me, I liked how it applied. I will definetely repurchase more.
5. Rimmel Matte BB Cream- I think this was my first BB cream I tried since BB creams became popular and I wanted to see what the hype was about! I got matte because well, my skin doesnt need anymore shine to it! I didnt love it, didnt hate it. Seemed a little too thick for my liking. If your on a budget this is an ok BB cream but I have found better ones out there. This does have SPF 15 so that is a plus.
6. NYX Provocateur Boudoir Mascara- I love a good mascara. Only because with out, I look tired or sick! I was not blessed with long full eye lashes so I will take any help I can get in that category!! I purchased this from Ulta a while back and actually loved it. The #2 brush is a great brush and didnt clump my lashes at all. I will be repurchasing this one eventually.
7. Avines OI/All in one milk for hair- I got this in one of my Birchboxes and loved it! I always use hair products after I wash my hair. This has the best scent and gives my hair shine, detangles and protects from heat products.
8. WEN sweet almont mint replenishing treatment- I wanted to know what the hype was regarding WEN products. Honestly, not a fan. Not sure whats so great about these products but the ones I got including this one didnt do a thing for my hair. I have used much better leave in and hydrating hair treatments (see #7).
9 UP & UP Cleansing Towelettes for Sensitive Skin- Yes, I was blessed (or not) with sensitive skin. Scents are not even an option for my skin. These work great and are unscented. I have repurchased over and over and keep coming back to these. They are compared to the Simple cleansing towelettes but for the price I dont think I need to purchase the real thing. These work just as good!
