These are the four must haves for bringing home baby. Aside from the obvious diapers and wipes, if these were the only items you have for the baby you could survive the first week no problem.
1. Johnson's Natural Baby Bath kit. These not only smell incredible, but they are as gentle on sensitive skin as the more expensive brands like Burt's Bee's, Honest Co., and Aveeno. The lotion is gentle and keeps babies skin soft during that not-so-fun shedding process. Get the lotion here,
2. This 2-in-1 baby swing is a life saver. It basically has magical powers that will sooth your baby and keep them snuggled and safe long enough for you to shower and hopefully eat. We also used ours when our little man got his first cold and the DR. recommended him sleeping more upright. Get it here.
3. Aden & Anais swaddle blankets. These are not only cute, but super handy. They can be used to swaddle, cover while breastfeeding, or even work great to wipe up the spit up. They come in four packs, so trust me, you won't feel bad about using one to do the latter. Get them here.
4. Gerber newborn mitten onesies. These are great for a few reasons. They keep baby from scratching up their faces, they keep babies hands warm, and they can be bleached if needed (followed by a cycle with Dreft). Get them here.
