Until I had a pear-lovin baby I never gave pear sauce a second thought. It is quick, easy, and has a great fall flavor.

Take your pears (I used about 6 for a small batch) and peel them. Next dice them and toss them in a pot.

Turn on Medium Heat for 8 minutes, then to low and let simmer.

Turn on Medium Heat for about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Turn down to low and let simmer with lid on until soft. Once soft, mash them with potato masher or utensil of choice. I left mine chunky.

Place in jars or tupperware! Good for 5 days in the refridgerator.
