If you are familiar with Instagram shops, there is no way you have missed all the cute rompers on there. As much as I would love to buy one of each, my bank account gives me a hard no...and so does my husband. So the other day I had a whopping 20 minutes of me time and decided to spent it taking a whack at it myself. From start to finish, including adding buttons to the back later, it took about 30 minutes. I didn't use a pattern, and the print on the shirt was crooked resulting in a slightly wonky romper. Once it's on though you really can't even tell. Now that I know how quick and simple they are (relatively) I will definitely be making a pattern in the future to work out any kinks.
Here's what you need to get your nugget looking #instastylish:
-Sewing Machine (Thread color of choice)
-Romper or outfit of desired size
-Large-X-large T-shirt depending on size of romper and print on shirt
**For 0-3 months use women's large or mens medium,
12-18 months mens large, 18-24 months X-Large
-Pins to mark out size, and scissors

Carefully Pin edges to mark size. Once you have it marked cut out along pins leaving about 1/4 inch for seam. Turn Shirt inside out and sew edges! That simple!! You may need to add a button or two to the back of the neck depending on neck hole size. Now you will also have an easier time making a basic pattern for future rompers. Elastic neck's are my next romper trick to tackle...eventually.
