If you don't live under a rock, you have likely been to good 'Ol Red Robins. Bottomless fries, and greasy delicious burgers. You may stick with the obvious choice of burgers while dining there, but let me tell you, you are missing out. Their salads are some of my favorites. I'm sure they are not salads that fall into any "healthy" catergory, because they are loaded. Even still, I'm obsessed with them. My favorite is the crispy chicken, and it's all about that poppyseed honey mustard dressing. I always wondered how they made it so good, and no bottle from the store could ever do it justice. After experimenting with recipes I finally found the perfect ingredients to make a copycat dressing. It is amazing on salad, in wraps, or even just to dip. You can also use it for glazing and baking chicken or pork.
This recipe is quick, easy, and lasts in your fridge for up to two weeks. Although once you try it, I'm sure it won't still be there after a week. My favorite part about making dressings is that I know EXACTLY what is going in them.
Ingredients:
-1 1/3 Cup Mayo (I use light, or whole30)
-4 1/2 Tbsp White Sugar
-2 1/2 Tbsp Honey
-2 Tbsp Mustard
-2 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
-2 Tbsp White Vinegar
-2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
-1 1/2 Tbsp Poppy Seeds
Directions:
-Whisk it all together in a bowl! That's it!
